Her and my BIL got married a year ago in December and I didn’t have a problem with her…1st I was offended cause they went off to Mexico to get married and we couldn’t afford to go and because of that she didn’t want to “waste” an invitation on us..it would be polite to still send is one especially since my husband is the grooms brother…I mean for a keepsake…then she is a Veternarian and I am a SAHM and full time college student and it feels like she is always talking down to me or just plain rude! They got pregnant right away and my BIL would ask me questions about babies and stuff since I have been married for 9yrs this year and have 2 kids…and when I am talking to him, she will straight up but in and take his attention away or change the subject…this would make me mad cause I am not forcing any advice on them…he is coming to me and asking me! Then on Thanksgiving all the women were in the kitchen getting dinner ready and she was micromanaging me and tell me step by step how to steam green beans…I was just standing there “like are you serious?” I wanted to slap her but she was pregnant…I just bit my tounge and left the room and let them finish cooking…then for Christmas we do a secret Santa and she had me, she bought me a really cute sweater but in a size LARGE…I was not even a Large when pregnant…so of course I was offended, then she didn’t want to take it and exchange it, she wanted to send me the reciept in the mail and have me drive all the way to Chicago to exchange it when she lived right there! I just left it and my MIL’s house and let them do whatever..and I still have not gotten my Christmas gift…so I will no longer participate in their secret santas….and the most recent thing she did that just made me want to avoid her at all cost cause i am not sure if i could fight the temptation to beat her was that she sent out the baby’s birth announcement…it had the babies name, middle name, moms last name and then my BIL’s last name…which I thought was weird cause if you are hyphenating last names…it should be the dad’s first, so i sent her a message on FB saying thanks for the announcement, the baby is gorgeous and that I was not aware that they were giving the baby her last name and not my BIL’s…i put it like that so they could clarify if it was another middle name, a misprint or if she was taking the mom’s name before the dad’s? Everyone was curious…and she deleted my question and didn’t even bother to respond…so now I am like what the hell is her problem?
I don’t hate…I just don’t want to be bothered with her…unfortunately i have to see her when i go to my MIL’s
well i asked about the last name cause no one would and everyone was confused…we were not sure if it was a misprint, another middle name or her last name????? I don’t really care, its not my kid..it’s theirs and they are free to do what they will…just everyone was like what does that mean and no one would ask but me…
Well I appreciate everyone’s imput. I never saw it the way you describe cause to me, I put forth effort to be nice and ask about the baby and buy her gifts and then BAM, I get shitty comments or treated shady…and its not that I am being petty…I just think that people can only take so much and they will either blow-up or just need to remove themselves from those people..thats just my point of view…
and I am definatly not jealous…I am not a jealous person and she has nothing i desire..

I asked the one time about the name but once she deleted my question I never brought it back up…I think my husband asked his brother and maybe my MIL finally asked them something cause my husband told me that its another middle name…but I didn’t even want to ask anymore…it was clarified, and that all I want to know..

Ok, so this girl and I became very close friends pretty quick. But its been a long distance relationship, because we met eachother at a camp. She lives about 10 hrs from me. But we texted and called eachother to talk and stuff. Well, to make a long story short, I was always there for her through a lot of troubles she went through. Including a friends suicide, and just other stressful scenarios… She eventually wrote me a letter, back in october, because she hates texting. And I wrote her back and so forth… But lately I’ve also been under a lot of stress and when she tried to help me, I was selfish I didnt handle things well. Basically I kept apologizing and apologizing for it, and she was mad at me all throughout December. I told her I understood, and that I hadn’t been myself there for awhile (which was true). I told her that I need to take some time, basically clear my head and see where God wants this relationship to go (I am a Christian). So, I called her on Jan 1st we talked and had a great convo. She then called me that night again because I told her we might not ever talk again because I needed to sort things out and I wanted to make sure it was God’s will for us to be friends… well, she left me this huge long message about how much she loved me and was thankful for me, and that she hoped it wasnt the last time we talked. I could tell it was very emotional.

Also, a couple weeks later she left me another message stating that she almost burst into tears when she found out I might not be able to make it to the camp we both would attend this year…

But here’s my question… all this sounds like she may like me… But we really don’t talk that much anymore. However, the past few days she has posted these facebook webcam videos on my wall just telling me about her day or her project she just completed for school, or to just tell me Im awesome. She looks and acts excited in the vids… But other times its confusing… There are instances where it seems like she doesn’t want to talk, or maybe she’s just too busy… but then she says other things that makes me think she likes me.

Women are confusing. Anyway, sorry for the length. Its all a bit complicated as you can see. Oh, and she’s in highschool. I just started my 2nd semester at college.

And I don’t really want to ask her about it, unless I feel i have no other choice. I dont want to make things awkward for her or our friendship. We call eachother ‘best buddies’. And we have no problem telling eachother we love eachother. But shes just really hard to read… I know this probably sounds pretty pathetic, but I thought id rant about it and post it just to see what some opinions were.

I love her very much. She has always tried to be there for me when I needed someone. She is different. She is obviously very beautiful physically, but also internally. She is just so special in my eyes, and she has impacted my life very deeply. I sent her a valentines/late Christmas gift which consisted of some music, a couple poems to her, some origami roses i made, and some chocolate and a comedic screenplay i wrote. When she got it she posted another video on my wall saying that ‘it was the best… you’re the best!’. obviously she was appreciative. but its just confusing. she never texts me anymore, though i know she hates it. she did text me on valentines day before she got my gift, and it was right when she woke up. she basically just said wished me a good day and said she loved me. she hasnt called me on the phone just to talk in awhile though. So, right now I’m just letting things cook out. I havent talked to her in 10 days, and i havent heard from her either…

And so yeah, she knows i love her too. I’ve told her that I adored her, and I wrote her a poem back in December during all the mess. I asked her if she felt at all awkward and she immediately shot it down and said no. And then obviously, she said what she said in Jan… I also have told her “I love you so much”.

Although I have also told her that I don’t want a relationship. I just love her… Do you think she is confused? Maybe…

Another thing… Back in november, my birthday month, she said she was going to surpise me. Then in december she told me what it was, she was painting me something. I havent recieved it. And I dont know if she decided not to give it to me or what. And THAT doesnt make any sense. I cant ask her about it because that would come off as selfish. idk.

I have to agree with you, women are complicated but men are complicated too.. From what you said it sound like she did have feelings for you but it also sounds like she is just trying to be there for you through your hard times like you have with her. By you telling her you didnt want a relationship but then continue telling her you love her might have confused her too. I am going through a similar situation with my best guy friend. About your birthday gift you should just ask her. You say you haven’t talked to her in about 10 days, maybe you should call her. I think if you want to know how she feels about you, you should just ask her straight out. I don’t think she would think bad of it or act different. Women often are afraid of making the first move.

Well she still won’t answer my calls and I see her facebook she added some new guy and on her myspace she changed her mood to “yummie” and status to “feeling better”

If she was really mad at me that means she is trying to get over me and I need to do something. I see absolutely no other reason why she would ignore me. I didn’t do anything, and she knows that if she doesn’t want to talk to me she will tell me. We have known each other for a while, not like we are strangers.

She is very insecure with herself, and i’ve fallen for her. There really
aint no other girl that i’d want to be with in my life.

This is was happened… some girl left a very flirty comment saying she wants to give me a Christmas present on my facebook tuesday and the girl i like saw it and she put “crushed” on her myspace within hours of that other girl posting that comment.

Me and her are supposed to go out on our first date this weekend, and I think she really liked me, but i wasn’t sure. Regardless after that message she stopped talking to me, which was yesterday. She is a very jealous girl and on monday when we met i felt A LOT of chemistry and sexual tension between us when we met for a bit.

She wants a man that is ONLY hers, its mostly because 2 exs she loved ended up being married/or with another girl.

also my female friend obviously made it look like she wants to give me more than a simple christmas gift, with the cute name calling and winks and stuff. I know she was joking, but other people dont know that.

Also I kinda have a thing for jealous women.

Sounds like she is insecure and you may be too. If she flips you off that easy she will never stay with anyone but if she does his life will not be easy. If he looks at another gal she will go into breakdown mode and dump him NOW. Find someone on the normal side and you can be happier. You need a friend girl in your life, not an enemy girl. Good luck

I have a 16 year old, who when she was 13 years of age visited her father who is lives in another state. She was taken to a females home for an overnight stay without my consent. She uses a rescue inhaler and her father did not take it that night, neither did he stay with her that night. He simply left her over this woman’s home, (thankfully her two other siblings were there as well). However, had she needed her asthma medicine she would have been in trouble. Anyway, I was upset and asked him to not do that again. He got really angry and we actually ended up in court over it. The judge agreed with me because she was a single mom as well. She informed my child’s father that he must notify me prior to taking her for an overnight stay. He became infuriated and (to make a long story short) told my child that he would no longer see her until she was 18! What kind of crap is that to tell a 13 year old. He has not sent her any Christmas gifts, birthday gifts or anything since this incident. 3 years!!!
So, recently he called and asked her to come visit him for the summer, she told him she did not want to visit. He kept asking her and continued to text her on her cell phone during school hours. She cried herself to sleep one night, and this is when I stepped in and decided to change her number. This way if she wanted to call him she could, but he could no longer call her to upset her. Was I wrong??

I dont think that you were wrong. When the time is right, i am sure she will want to call him herself. And he should net be calling her and making her upset. I think the best thing to do is forgive her father and start fresh.

this is not a jealousy think whatsoever, more of a disrespect and inapporpriate. so me and my husband have been together for 4 years, 5 in february. we have a 3 year old and one on the way. he loves me, i love him. we live a state away from all the family and drama. i am SOOOO sick of his family it’s not funny!!! and his uncle, who has been married to a woman is the same way. I mean I think his family buys her birthday, and christmas gifts, and they don’t buy me gifts?? She has a 5 year old, and when my husband and i first started dating they would joke about how much this little girl looks like him. like it was funny to me?? her name is erica, and my husbands name is eric. Name suggestions for our girls?? Erica!!! When she had a problem with her Heating and Air, which my husband used to do, they gave her his number to call
him, like what in the hell is he going to do?? he is another state away, call someone local. When we first started dating there was an incident when she showed up drunk with her friends at his door crying to him that she wanted him back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know she is still clinging on to that hope. If we are in town. She’ll come over to MIL house and sit there and talk about lunch plans with my MIL. On her myspace there is a picture of my husbands g-ma with her daughter saying, “what would we do without grams” Lately she has been emailing my husband on myspace, just to shoot the shit with him, like talking about her career, and she heard we were having another one. I just don’t get it?? they dated for like 4 years. I feel like being the “psycho” girl and emailing her and telling her i don’t appreciate her contacting my husband, and to lay off. He doesn’t respond, and he doesn’t like his family talking to her. But she doesn’t give up trying, and it’s ANNOYING!!!! What to do?

My wife and I went shopping yesterday for a last minute Christmas shopping. While my wife was shopping to JCP I was waiting out front so she shop by herself without me seeing what she get for me as Christmas gift. After an hour or two, she called me on her cell phone to let me know she was being taken to the security office. She was being detained for accidentally putting a pair of toddler socks in the wrong bag. She had her purse, a bag from other store and jcpenny’s shopping bag on one arm. She was in a hurry shopping and by mistake put the items in the wrong bag. While she was escorted to the security office, she was not allowed to use her phone so she can call me. My wife told me, while she was inside in the office she keeps explaining that she forgot everything about the socks. It was unintentional. Even she was not allowed to use her phone, she insisted and called me while she was inside. The second I knew, I went inside the store and ask for the security office. I could hear…

I could hear the conversation thru the door, as she was trying to explain, all they do was cut her off and say “tell the judge” everytime she speak I heard the same thing from the inside. She told me that the two women were rude and unprofessional. It was never an intention to my wife to steal these socks, it was a Christmas present for my grandson. My wife thinks that because she is a minority( Asian) and does not have a full mastery of our language, and they were discriminating her on that basis, that they were trying to make a example of her by not listening to her. She keeps saying to forgive her and that she forgot everything about the socks. The security lady told her she would have forgiven her for one pack of socks, but my wife was getting 2 packs as the sale was buy 1 get the second half off.

P. S. -She paid what was in the JCPenny bag.
They never call a cop but they told her to wait a letter from the police and from the court. Now she is worried. She couldnt sleep.
They ask her id, wrote her name and took a picture even she does not want to. The lady read a piece of paper saying that a JCP corporate, a cop and a court will send her a letter and let her signed. She signed against her will. The lady kept the signed paper and gave her another paper without her signature to keep with a the security’s name and phone number. Until we got home, she look at the paper , and it says, I _______hereby admit to stealing merchandise valued $ 19.99 from JCP . I also herby acknowledge that my detention was reasonable.
Basically, the rest was saying that she understand the civil damages.
That paper does not have her signature but only the security’s name on it.
Now she is worried because she just realized and she thinks it’s the same paper that she signed. She thinks they mislead her because at first she keep saying that she will not sign the paper that she read admitting the incident..
she’s worried that it will show on her record. She has job to protect
My question is, if they can send a letter to the police as what the security told her to wait for a letter from the police department. (Even they did not call cop so there is no police report.)
She is worried that it will show up on her background check.
Also, they asked her if she has cash with her and she said no, only a debit card and JCPenny card where she used on paying the items she bought.

there are something i am wondering about as to my wife’s actions that maybe someone can figure out. i have tried i know i am not perfect but i try to please her with no luck. i will just give a list not in any particular order and see what everyone thinks: 1) gets mad at any and everything i do or say. 2) goes into our living room instead of sitting in the family room where the tv is without any light and texts on the phone. 3) if she is in the family room and receives a text she instantly goes to living room; 4) she receives texts on a average of every 15 minutes. 5) she doesn’t clean house like she use to but gripes at me for not doing it( i work 10+ hours a day on a ranch) 6) she will be home all afternoon and do nothing then get mad if when i come in and don’t cook a meal. 7) i ask her if she wants to go somewhere and do something she won’t go(bowling-movies-etc). she works as a breakfast for a large motel 1/2 day and complains how tired she is which she is probably tired but on the same token i work outside all day and am too(but i don’t complain about it) 9) she sleep way on the other side of our king size bed with her back too me. she even gets up in the middle of the night and sleeps in her recliner. 10) sometimes when she is in a good mood we set down at the dining table she has a glass of wine or a beer and even set on the sofa; she will act like she is interested in making out then all of a sudden she just stops. her attitude changes and she becomes grumpy. 11) she may be in the kitchen and i go in there and try to get playful she either gets cold and ignores me or says “why did you do that” (in a grumpy voice) so i just go watch tv. 12) she even sleep with sweat pants now saying they keep her from having leg cramps. 13) as for holidays for some reason they aren’t good around here. for example i just dound out this week just befor christmas she is going to iowa(her kids house) which i was never even told about nor was i invited to go with her. 14) for some reason she bought christmas gifts when i wasn’t around; didn’t even know they were here until i saw wrapped packages. still don’t know or was even showed what she got the kids. 15) i went out because her old pickup was in serious condition got a loan and bought her a newer pickup for christmas then ordered a dash mat and when i went to pick it up she insisted she pay for it and handed me a $ 100 to pay with(she would not let me get it) 16) i know she has cashed her last 5 pay checks and put the money in her little safety box. she never deposits them, except for a couple way back. 17) she checks our online bank account status every day and if i buy something she gripes at me but it is ok if she says use the debit card. she also holds onto the check book like you wouldn’t believe unless i insist on looking at it then get mad. 18) she will not use any of her money to help pay on her credit card bills always uses my pay which is auto deposited. 19) when she does go to iowa she will call me everyday sometimes two or three times and ask “what are you doing” “where are you” then accuses me of having someone here which is totally untrue. when she does this she is always in front of her kids or best friend(a woman named linda). 20) if i call her when she is in iowa she angrily ask what do you want and sometimes i have called her as many as 20-30 times back to back before she answers her phone then replies “what do you want” 21) also when she is in iowa she seems to want to argue on the phone more when either i call or she calls. 22) when she does laundry she always does her clothes and leaves mine; i have even run out of work jeans ans did them myself. these are a few of the things she has started doing. when we first got married everything was good she couldn’t do enough for me now she hardly wants to do anything for me or with me.
she has already went through menopause. she is 58 yrs old. i know i am not perfect but she is always trying to make out like i am doing something and i am not and don’t want too.
funny the very day i posted this i called her at her work to see if she wanted to do something when she got off work. she said i don’t know i will decide when i get home. so just in case i cleaned up in case we went somewhere. she came in sat down at the table started telling me about her day; i was listening but made the mistake of looking at the tv. shortly there after she just blew up and started gripping at me like i was some kind of teenager. then started blaming me for starting an argument. she sat in living room in the dark for a long time then got up went to the bedroom closed the door; i finished watching a movie then went to bed and as usual she turned her back to me so i just went to sleep
